Mission: To develop and establish itself as an internationally recognized academic, research, clinical research and education center in the field of Speech Therapy-Speech Pathology sciences.
Objectives:

- To develop and promote the Speech Therapy field in Cyprus, by producing (through research) and disseminating (through training) the necessary scientific knowledge, know-how and technology.
- To attract academic staff of the highest level.
- To provide students for the first time the opportunity to study the science of Speech Therapy in a public institution in Cyprus, within a high-level academic and clinical environment.
- To establish close ties of cooperation with the local community such as schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centres etc.
- To promote international cooperation and educational mobility, especially in Europe.

o Speech & Language Therapy (SLT) services including assessment and intervention sessions, hearing screenings, individual and or group therapy sessions for adults and children, all sessions are executed by speech therapy university students

o Differential diagnosis in child apraxia of speech and SSD/systematic intervention regimes for promoting speech intelligibility in SSD

(4) AACTLab (Laboratory of Augmentative/Alternative Communication and Assistive Technology)
- Services:
o Augmentative and Alternative Communication assessment and intervention to people of all ages
o Workshops on AAC issues to parents, carers and professionals
o High quality research on issues surrounding Augmentative and Alternative Communication

o Computerised tool for Augmentative and Alternative Communication purposes
o Eye-gaze system for communication purposes
o Assistive technology products for communication purposes
(5) The Brain and Neurorehabilitation Lab
- Services:
o The lab provides the research staff with access to cutting-edge noninvasive brain stimulation technology and employs different neural stimulation techniques (i.e. rTMS and transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) for exploring the relationship between brain and behaviour, questions about brain plasticity and its modulation that is combined with careful experimental task designs and brain imaging in healthy populations and patients with neurological disoders
